This historic brick house was built by Lowell Spang in 1928 and recently restored by the Phil Hixon family. The front entryway has a mahogany door with beveled glass transom and sidelites. Inside is an antique black walnut stairway.  There is a large living room, dining room, glass kitchen, four fireplaces, and two sunrooms.  Each of the four bedrooms has a different variety of wood door and each open directly to an outside balcony.

The kitchen and the three baths have the original solid milk glass walls and ceilings. One bath has a large old fashion tub and one of the baths has an antique seven head shower. There are five acres with a large barn, carriage house, chicken pen and smokehouse.  A red and white brick driveway loops in front of the house and connects all the buildings together.
